1. Introduction.
The Spotify Premium for Students subscription (the “Premium for Students Subscription”) is made available by Spotify (as defined in the Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use), subject to these terms and conditions (the “Premium for Students Subscription Terms”). The Premium for Students Subscription enables Qualifying Students (as defined below) to subscribe to Spotify Premium - a form of Paid Subscription, as defined in the Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use, (the “Spotify Premium Service”) - for the advertised discounted monthly price.

2. Eligibility.

A. Use of the Premium for Students Subscription is only open to students at accredited higher education institutions in the UK who meet the additional qualifications described below (“Qualifying Students”).
B. You will be required to submit certain information sufficient for us to verify that you are a Qualifying Student. This includes your name, valid educational institution, email address, date of birth and/or other documents (“Qualifying Information”), as well as your payment details.
C. We will use the services of SheerID, Inc. (“SheerID”), a third party, to assist with verifying your Qualifying Information. SheerID will process your Qualifying Information, in accordance with the SheerID privacy policy, and confirm your student status to us. Spotify may also receive your Qualifying Information and share such information with SheerID. We reserve the right to determine if you are a Qualifying Student in our sole discretion. Spotify will store your name, educational institution name, email address and date of birth.
D. By applying for the Premium for Students Subscription and submitting the Qualifying Information, you understand that any personal information that we may collect and process under your Premium for Students Subscription will be done in accordance with the Spotify Privacy Policy. This will include the collection, storage and sharing with third parties of your name, educational institution name, email address and date of birth for the purpose of evaluating your eligibility for the Premium for Students Subscription.

A. In the event that we consider you to be a Qualifying Student, by proceeding to subscribe to the Premium for Students Subscription, you hereby acknowledge and agree to the Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use and these Premium for Students Subscription Terms.
B. If you are already subscribed to the Spotify Premium Service when you complete your verification as a Qualifying Student and sign up process, the first Discounted Month (as defined below) will start after the expiration of the period of the Spotify Premium Service or Unlimited Service (as defined in the Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use) that you have already paid for. If you are a Free or new Spotify user, the Discounted Month will start after you have activated your access to the Premium for Students Subscription. You may only be subscribed to the Premium for Students Subscription under one Spotify account.

4. Duration and cancellation.

A. Qualifying Students can receive the advertised discounted monthly subscription to the Spotify Premium Service for each month (each a “Discounted Month”) up to a period of twelve (12) consecutive months ('Discount Period'). Qualifying Students are entitled to activate up to a maximum of three (3) additional Discount Periods for themselves by re-submitting their Qualifying Information for re-verification.
B. Qualifying Students who have reached the maximum duration limit for their Premium for Students Subscription as described in section 4A, above, will automatically migrate to a subscription to the Spotify Premium Service on a monthly recurring basis, at the then-full price, after the end of the then current Discount Period. If you do not want your subscription to migrate to the Spotify Premium Service at the end of the Discount Period, you can cancel your subscription at any time before that Discount Period ends by following the steps outlined below.
C. You may cancel your subscription to the Premium for Students Subscription at any time by logging into your Spotify account and following the prompts on the Account page, or by clicking here and following the instructions. Cancellation will take effect at the expiration of the then-current Discounted Month.
D. If you cancel your subscription to the Premium for Students Subscription at any time during a Discount Period, you may re-activate your subscription during the same Discount Period. Upon reactivation you will receive the same number of Discounted Months remaining in that Discount Period as you would have received, had you not cancelled your subscription. Your then current Discount Period will always end twelve consecutive months after you first subscribed or last reverified, as the case may be. Discount Periods may not be extended for any reason. For example, if your Premium for Students Subscription starts at the beginning of January, you will have activated a Discount Period for twelve (12) consecutive months until the end of December. If you cancel your subscription in March of that year and reactivate it in August, the Discount Period will remain the same and expire at the end of December that same year.
E. You may also delete your Spotify account at anytime by logging into your Spotify account and following the prompts on the Account page or click here and follow the instructions.

5. Availability of the Premium for Students Subscription.
Spotify reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend the Premium for Students Subscription in whole or in part at any time and for any reason. After such time, Spotify shall not be obligated to permit any further subscriptions to the Premium for Students Subscription.

6. Payment.
If Spotify increases its monthly fee for the Premium for Students Subscription in the future, we will provide you notice and an opportunity to cancel. If not cancelled, price changes will take effect at the start of the next Discounted Month following the date of the price change. You can cancel your subscription to the Premium for Students Subscription at any time prior to the commencement of the new billing cycle. By not cancelling and continuing to use the Spotify service after the price change takes effect, you agree to be charged the new price.Neither prepaid cards nor Spotify gift cards can be used as a valid payment method for this offer.
